This course is aimed at students looking to enter into hairdressing as a change of career, or where an apprenticeship pathway may not be possible. Structured over thirteen months of full time study the student will learn all the necessary skills and knowledge required to assess as a qualified hairdresser upon completion of training. The training at Parlour Hair Academy is delivered by cutting edge teachers at the forefront of the fashion industry to ensure that apprentices receive relevant training along with a thorough foundation of hairdressing knowledge to build their future career path. Parlour Hair Academy offer incentives to salons that send their apprentices to the Academy for their training, please contact the Academy for more information. Class sizes are small to allow more one-on-one training and students have access to all national and international resources at the Academy. The nominal hours of completion are 1025 and the course is competency based. Students are assessed on a daily basis with a final assessment on completion of their training. Progress reports are sent to the employer every 6 months, together with progressive updates from the Apprentice Co-ordinator.

Important Information:

Open to any student wishing to gain entry into hairdressing as a career. Monthly. Thirteen months, four days a week at the Academy, with work placement component off site of one day per week. Part-time study is also available, however this can extend the duration of the course. Face to face on site at Parlour Hair Academy. Self paced training.
